イスラエル・パレスチナ間の暴力的紛争の即時停止を訴える
去る1月20日アメリカ新大統領就任に先駆けイスラエル軍の爆撃行為が停止されましたが、このイスラエル・パレスチナ間の暴力的紛争に対し、WILPF本部（ジュネーブ）は各国に向け即時停止を呼びかける声明文を出しました。これ
を受けて日本支部ではイスラエル・パレスチナの在日代表宛に、即時停止の要望書を提出しました。
要望書の内容： 2009年1月13日 婦人国際平和自由連盟日本支部 会長 出 渕 敬 子 イスラエル・パレスチナ間の暴力的紛争の即時停止を訴える
婦人国際平和自由連盟（Women’s International League for Peace and Freedom）は1915年第一次大戦の最中、武器によらない平和な世界を希求する世界各国の女性たちが中立国オランダ・ハーグに集まり、結成した女性の平和団体です。当団体は国連のECOSOCを1948年に取得しています。 婦人国際平和自由連盟日本支部（ＷＩＬＰＦ）は、現在行われているイスラエル・パレスチナ間の暴力的紛争の即時中止を訴えます。 別紙の英文は、私たちの本部（在ジュネーブ）は両国に対し紛争の即時中止を要請するものです。このアピールに述べられているように、イスラエル・パレスチナ両国は即座に暴力的紛争を中止する絶大な努力をされることを求めます。 尚上記のWILPF本部の声明文（英文）には、WILPFが国連特別調査報告にもとづき、イスラエル・パレスチナ間の紛争が違法で非人道的であり受け入 れがたいものであるとする国連加盟国を支持し、戦いの終結をもとめる主旨が書かれています。 以下はこの声明文（英文）の抜粋です。 声明文―抜粋： Stop the bombs! The situation in Gaza is desperate. The United Nations Special Rapporteur on the human rights situation in the Occupied Territories has recently referred to certain acts by Israel against the Gaza population as a crime against humanity[1]. We are horrified by the daily murder of innocent civilians in the Gaza strip as a result of the massive escalation in military action. This is illegal, uncivilized and unacceptable behaviour by a United Nations Member State. WILPF supports the recommendations of the Special Rapporteur of the situation of human rights in the Palestinian territories. In his report of 25 August 2008, he recoｍmends, among other things, that “the United Nations should explore its own responsibility with respect to the wellbeing of the Palestinians living under unlawful condition of occupation particularly bearing on abuses of border control, freedom and independence of journalists, and the general crisis in health care, especially in Gaza”. It is high time for all involved to take the steps that will break the vicious circle of violent actions and reactions we witness constantly and bring the occupation, the basic cause of the violence, to an end.
